Renewora (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Renewora mobile application (‘App’). By using Renewora, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you create a Renewora account and complete onboarding, we collect:

• Full name at birth (first name, middle name, last name) — used for numerological calculations

• Date of birth, birth time, and birth place — used for astrological chart calculations

• Gender — used to personalise astrological interpretations

• Email address — used for account authentication and communication

• Password — stored in encrypted form, never in plain text

When you use the Compatibility feature, you may provide:

• Name, date of birth, and birth place of third parties — used solely to generate your compatibility reading and stored linked to your account only

1.2 Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical information to operate and improve the App:

• Device type and operating system version

• App version and crash reports

• Feature usage patterns (anonymised and aggregated)

• Subscription status and transaction identifiers (not payment details)

We do not use tracking technologies for advertising and do not collect your location beyond what you voluntarily provide as your birth place.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Core service

Your birth data is used to:

• Compute your numerological profile: Life Path number, Expression number, Soul Urge number, Personal Year, karmic numbers, and other derived values

• Calculate your astrological natal chart using standard astronomical algorithms (Placidus house system)

• Generate personalised synthesis reports, forecasts, affirmations, and transit alerts through our AI system (Anthropic Claude API)

• Cache your generated reports to reduce repeated processing and improve performance

2.2 Account and communication

• To authenticate you and maintain your account

• To send transactional notifications you have opted into (daily affirmations, forecasts, transit alerts)

• To send important account and service updates

• To respond to your support requests

2.3 Service improvement

• To monitor app stability and fix technical issues

• To understand feature usage in aggregate, anonymised form

• We do not use your personal birth data for any analysis or modelling beyond generating your personal reports

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 AI Processing (Anthropic)

To generate your personal reports, your birth data is transmitted to Anthropic, Inc. (anthropic.com), the provider of the Claude AI model we use. Anthropic processes this data solely to generate your report text and does not retain it for model training by default. Data transmission is encrypted in transit.

3.2 Infrastructure (Supabase)

Your account data and generated reports are stored using Supabase (supabase.com), a database infrastructure provider. Data is stored on encrypted servers. Supabase acts as a data processor under our instructions.

3.3 Payments (Apple / Google)

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details. We receive only confirmation of subscription status and a transaction identifier.

3.4 Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Renewora, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data — including birth data, generated reports, compatibility connections, and account credentials — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked to you.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data

• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (also available directly in Settings → Delete Account)

• Right to portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

• Right to object — object to processing of your data in certain circumstances

• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw at any time for processing based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@renewora.com. We will respond within 30 days. Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data:

• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS

• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text

• Database access is restricted and monitored

• We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

Renewora is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that a child under 17 has provided us with personal data, we will delete that data promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us at privacy@renewora.com.

8. International Data Transfers

Renewora is operated from the United States. If you access our App from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Renewora, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that any international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App and update the ‘Last Updated’ date at the top of this document. Your continued use of Renewora after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
